We have exciting news regarding the Balloon Fiesta Group Tour Hospitality Tent! The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® is starting a new program called the Chasers Club which will be a private tent for patrons who wish to have a more comfortable VIP experience at the event. Group Tours who purchase the Hospitality Package will now have access to the Chasers Club.
The Chasers Club experience will be similar to the Group Tour Hospitality Tent but with a few extra perks. Along with the light refreshments that are included in the Group Tour Package, your clients will have the option to purchase adult beverages and/or a hot food item. If you would like to pre-pay for either of these items for your group, please contact the Balloon Fiesta at 888-422-7277.
Another change to this year’s program is that the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® will now handle all of the administrative and on-field operations of the package. The Albuquerque CVB will no longer be the point of contact for this operation.
The coach parking area and the location of the Chasers Club tent will remain on the north end of Balloon Fiesta field as in the past. The only changes to you are the added options with the Chasers Club experience and where you mail your payment.
Among the changes, you will be pleased to know that Shamaine Giannini, who was ACVB's senior tourism sales manager for a number of years, has left ACVB to start her own venture, which includes contracting with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® to work with group tours so you will continue to interact with her.
